It was 52 years ago today rock ‘n roll lost three of its pioneers in a plane crash probably due to iced wings — they didn’t know about such things in those days.  RIP Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson.  The bird is the word! (Of course you’ve heard about the bird)
