Lossless music goes High Street • The Register.  Interesting article on how the  industry attempts to deliver improved audio quality (FLAC).  The author’s packaging ideas remind me of how LP record albums were marketed in the late 60’s and early 70’s.  Back then music business was into added-value merchandising.  Unfortunately the industry focused on less value and more profits when they realized people would buy the music anyway, especially when they started buying compact cassettes for their walkmans.  The age of convenience took over…
